PUBLIC HOLIDAYS

Please note that all classes will be held on public holidays excluding Good Friday and Easter Monday where there will be no classes. Children who miss classes due to these public holidays are welcome to participate in makeup classes. Please note that you do not have to book for make-up classes but advise the class teacher that you are doing a make-up class on your arrival.

ACCOUNTS AND PAYMENTS

Bookings will be taken with full payment only.   It is a requirement of the PCYC (Dance studio) that all dance participants must become members of the PCYC which incurs a $10 fee.  This entitles you to utilise all NSW PCYC centres for 1 year.  This fee is included in your first fee payment.  Please note that refunds are not available in regards to dance tuition if classes are missed and/or participation stops. Students are able to participate in makeup classes if their normal classes are missed. If you have any questions regarding your account please contact your Dance School Coordinator

THE TIMETABLE

Please find enclosed your timetable for TERM 3 ONLY 2010.  Please note that all age brackets suggested are a guideline only.  In order to offer all students a variety of classes we have tried to schedule the timetable so that students can participate in back to back classes on the 1 day rather than coming in over a number of days. Please don’t hesitate to contact the office for advice on the best classes for your child. PLEASE NOTE: When we confirm a combined location the Dance Timetable will change back to its original format.

 *Please note: Dance terms coincide with NSW School Terms and junior classes are closed over the school holidays

CLASS ATTIRE:

EPC clothing will come into force when we move to our brand new location.  All appropriate shoes must be worn for Term 3.  All Ballet students must be in FULL UNIFORM.  All other classes should wear comfortable appropriate attire with hair pulled back neatly.  Please see below for more information.

• Baby Ballerinas: Pink leotard, skirt, socks and ballet shoes. Ballet students are to wear their hair in a bun.
• Jump & Jive: Shorts and T-shirt, leotard and skirt for girls, bare feet.  Long hair pulled back neatly.
• Mums & Bubs Mini Maestros: Comfortable clothing, preferably pants and tops.
• Ballet: Pre-Primary to Primary: Pink ‘Chloe’ short sleaved leotard, pink georgette wrap skirt, pink ballet shoes with elastic, short pink ballet socks, and hair in a bun.
• Ballet Grade 1 - 2: Pale blue leotard with matching elasticised belt, pink ballet shoes with elastic, short pink ballet socks, black low heel character shoes, EPC black character skirt with ribbons and hair in a bun.
• Ballet Grade 3 – 5: Navy Blue leotard with matching elasticised belt, pink ballet tights, ballet shoes with elastic, black Cuban heel character shoes, EPC black character skirt with ribbons and hair in a ballet bun.
• Intermediate Foundation - Senior Ballet: Black leotard, pink ballet shoes with elastic, pink Pointe shoes with ribbons, stockings, chiffon skirt (optional) and hair in a bun.
• Street Jazz/Jazz technique & stretch/Musical Theatre/Just Dance: Black jazz shoes, Singlet or crop top, Pants or shorts with convertible ballet tights, hair tied back neatly.  Just Dance students will need Black Tap shoes as well.
• Glenn Wood Tap: As above with black Tap shoes.
• Contemporary/Acrobatics: As above with bare feet.
• Hip Hop/Breakdancing: Singlet/crop or T-shirt top, jazz pants, track pants or cargos, sneakers or hip hop shoes/boots.
• Boys: Singlet top or T-shirt, black pants/shorts or cargo pants, black jazz shoes, sneakers for Hip Hop. Male ballet students must wear white male leotard with navy tights or black tights for major grades, white socks and white ballet shoes.
