EPC offers students the chance to explore the world of song writing by teaching them how to create and get in touch with their own individual sound. As students advance in this process they are encouraged to record demos, singles and albums. Producer/sound engineer SEAN CAREY has been an avid supporter of Elite for the past 4 years and we are excited to have him as part of our team.

As an independent music producer, Sean uses his extensive experience in engineering, recording and mixing to ensure you get a polished, professional edge to your music. Biography

Sean Carey is a Sydney based producer with over 10 years studio experience.

He is a multi platinum recording artist as Guitarist for Thirsty Merc (3 Gold Records, 1 Platinum Album, and 5 Aria Nominations) and has toured all over the world to more than half a million people. He is a singer/songwriter in his own right and has produced hundreds of Albums, EPs and Singles for many artists. Currently Sean operates out of some of Sydney’s finest studios - Limestone Studios, the brand new and amazing GPHQ studio and his private “Beaver Studio”. Sean has expertise and experience in a range of styles and can cater for bands or solo artists and will make sure that your music reaches its full potential while always keeping its integrity. Sean has a large amount of industry experience and can give artists industry advice and also put you in touch with key contacts in the music business.

Recording News from Sean Carey

Sean is currently producing records for Kate Gogarty, Jai Honeybrook and Sydney sex Gods- The Affairs. All 3 of these records are as exciting as they are varied, watch this space. I have just finished another busy month finishing I Am Sam’s Triple A Side, which I think is gonna make some waves. Sounds like Jason Mraz meets The Streets. It’s cool. I played with FUZU for their EP launch on the 9th of July, and it was a terrific night. The EP that we made together earlier in the year turned out really special, well done dudes.

You’re a recording Seal??? No, I recorded SEAL! That’s right. I was recently asked to be the recording engineer for Seal while he was in town doing a promo tour for his new album, and also for ESKIMO JOE the week before, very cool and very stressful! You will see/hear these recordings on Qantas flights in the near future. I am also putting the finishing touches on my first Solo Album, which is extremely exciting and a very long time coming! I think it’s really special, God I hope you do too!!
